Legal basis
leaders.ke processes personal data under the Kenya Data Protection Act (2019) and adheres to IEBC regulations on campaign material. Political opinions are sensitive personal data; we treat every signal of them (follows, ballots, reviews) accordingly.
Storage & retention
Data is stored securely and kept only as long as the account or campaign it belongs to is active. Verification documents are retained for the review trail and removed on account deletion.
Third parties
We use service providers for messaging (SMS, WhatsApp, email) and payments; each receives only the minimum needed to deliver its service. We do not sell personal data.
Access, correction, deletion
Manage your data from your account page (including full account deletion), or write to privacy@leaders.ke for anything the dashboard doesn't cover.
