Mohamed Yusuf Haji was a Kenyan politician who served as Minister of State for Defence from 2008 to 2013 and briefly as acting Minister of Internal Security and Provincial Affairs in 2012. He represented Ijara Constituency in the National Assembly during the 9th Parliament on a KANU ticket, and later represented Mandera West as MP in the 12th and 13th Parliaments under the Economic Freedom Party and United Democratic Movement respectively, sitting on the Departmental, Liaison, National Cohesion and Equal Opportunity, and Select committees in his later terms. He also served in the Senate of Kenya from 2013 under the Jubilee party before his death on 15 February 2021.
