Rachel Wambui Shebesh is a Kenyan politician who made history as the first Woman Representative for Nairobi County, serving from 2013 to 2017 in the 11th Parliament on The National Alliance ticket. After her term as an elected legislator, she went on to serve as a Chief Administrative Secretary in the Kenyan government, extending her public service career beyond the National Assembly. She is married to Frank Shebesh, and the couple marked the completion of their traditional marriage rites with a wedding ceremony in Githunguri in October 2021. Her single term representing Nairobi's women remains a notable milestone in the county's political history.
