William Kabogo Gitau is a Kenyan politician who represented Juja constituency in the National Assembly during the 9th Parliament on the Sisi Kwa Sisi ticket. He went on to become the first Governor of Kiambu County, a position he won in the 2013 general election, before later moving into national government as Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communications and the Digital Economy. He also leads the Tujibebe Wakenya Party. His career thus progressed from a single term as a backbench MP to leading a devolved county government and then into a cabinet-level executive role.
